range. It takes better picture than the popular canon 28-135mm and starts from 18mm wide. (28mm is not very wide on a crop sensor dslr like t3i, 60D, or 7D) It also has updated image stabilizer that is good up to 3 or 4 stops which is great for low light situations. I also had Canon 18-200mm IS but there was very little difference from 135mm and 200mm since it wasn't real 200mm. It make this lens a bargain for what you get at this price over the 18-200mm IS. rks at f/2.8 aperture. Auto focus and manual focus and everything works. I am currently using it on Canon DSLR (T3i and 20D) but only at f/2.8 aperture. It throws error at all other apertures. (It's because Sigma reverse engineers that older sigma lens don't work on Canon's newer cameras fully) Still, you get f/2.8 lens to use it at f/2.8 for speed and nice depth of field bokeh. Lens is old but takes excellent pictures and built extremely durable with metal body. I am only asking $250 Firm which is fraction of what 70-200mm telephoto lens with f/2.8 constant aperture costs. You are welcome to test it before purchase. I am also open to trades. It comes with hood (slight crack on the hood), front and rear caps, tripod mount ring, and sigma carry case.
